Don’t dread if you’re going to Las Vegas again this year. There’s always something new to check out, so it’s never the same trip twice.
Here’s what’s new in Las Vegas for 2019.
New Hotels in Las Vegas
3770 S. Las Vegas Blvd., Las Vegas, NV 89109 | (702) 737 -7777
Park MGM is the trendiest hotel-casino on the Las Vegas Strip right now. This property has a modern, nature-inspired boutique ambiance.
Their main attractions are Lady Gaga’s shows at The Park Theater and trendy places to eat like EATALY and Best Friend.
If you like trying (and being around) buzz-worthy places, then book a room at the Park MGM.

NoMad is the newest luxury hotel in Las Vegas. According to their website, their European-style rooms have boutique details like walk-in showers, hardwood floors, and freestanding pedestal tubs. It sounds like an amazing place to stay if you’re here for a honeymoon or anniversary!
3752 S. Las Vegas Blvd., Las Vegas, NV 89158
Remember Mandarin Oriental? It’s been renamed as Waldorf Astoria. Thankfully you can still grab afternoon tea at the Tea Lounge and sip on a cocktail with a view of The Strip at SkyBar.
New Restaurants in Las Vegas
The Cosmopolitan | 3708 S. Las Vegas Blvd., Las Vegas, NV 89109
I love this new addition to The Strip! Block 16 is a small collection of food and to-go counters on the second floor of The Cosmopolitan.
It’s like a mini version of L.A.’s Grand Central Market. Here, you can grab food from:
- Hattie B’s Hot Chicken
- Pok Pok Wing
- TEKKA BAR handroll & sake
- DISTRICT: Donuts. Sliders. Brew.
It’s a great place for a quick lunch, no reservations needed. You can also order to-go if you’d rather eat inside your hotel room instead.
Wynn Plaza Shops | 3131 S. Las Vegas Blvd., Las Vegas, NV 89109 | (702) 659 – 8642
Urth Cafe is a So-Cal style cafe on the second floor of the Wynn Plaza Shops. Here you can grab brunch menu items all day like salads, pastries, avocado toasts, & matcha lattes.
The Venetian | 3325 S. Las Vegas Blvd., Las Vegas, NV 89109 | (702) 607 – 3232
Mott 32 is a new, fine dining restaurant specializing in modern Chinese cuisine. This luxury restaurant has other locations in Hong Kong, Vancouver, and Bangkok. It’s definitely a restaurant to dress up, take in the elevated ambiance, and splurge.
CATCH Las Vegas
ARIA | 3730 S. Las Vegas Blvd., Las Vegas, NV 89158 | (877 ) 230 – 2742
You might have seen CATCH’s highly Instagrammable flower wall on someone’s social media feed. CATCH Las Vegas offers seafood with a modern, Asian spin.
Make a reservation here if you want a trendy atmosphere for an anniversary, birthday, or a fancy girls’ night out.
Green St. Kitchen
PALMS | 4321 W. Flamingo., Las Vegas, NV 89103 | (702) 489 – 2129
Green St. Kitchen is a new Asian fusion restaurant at Palms Casino Resort. What sets this apart is its secret entrance and trendy art decorating its space. Reserve your Saturday brunch here if you want a party vibe with unique, shareable eats and drinks.
New Bars and Lounges in Las Vegas
Park MGM | 3770 S. Las Vegas Blvd., Las Vegas, NV 89109
Mama Rabbit is a new bar in Park MGM that specializes in mezcal and tequila. There’s a colorful mural by Okuda San Miguel that I’m excited to see in person. I definitely want to try their margarita!
Vanderpump Cocktail Garden
Caesar’s Palace | 3570 S. Las Vegas Blvd., Las Vegas, NV 89109
Vanderpump Cocktail Garden is another glam space for drinks and appetizers in Las Vegas. This cocktail lounge is owned by Lisa Vanderpump, a restaurateur and reality TV star of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.
It’s the place to be when you’re all dressed up since everything looks super Instagrammable.
Juniper Cocktail Lounge
Park MGM | 3770 S. Las Vegas Blvd., Las Vegas, NV 89109 | (702) 730 – 7777
Juniper Cocktail Lounge is one of the newer cocktail bars in Las Vegas. They specialize in good looking cocktails infused with gin. My husband and I stopped by for the first time a couple of months ago, and we loved the moody atmosphere and our friendly bartender.
The Cosmopolitan | 3708 S. Las Vegas Blvd., Las Vegas, NV 89109 | (702) 698 – 7000
Ghost Donkey is a quirky new bar I want to visit soon. What makes this tequila bar special is its secret location at The Cosmopolitan.
New Clubs in Las Vegas
Palms Resort Casino | 4321 W. Flamingo Rd., Las Vegas, NV 89103 | (702) 942 – 7777
KAOS is the newest megaclub in Las Vegas. They generated a lot of media buzz when they announced Kardi B as one of its residents. This Halloween they’ll introduce the Demon Dome, which will keep the day club party going all through the winter season.
On The Record
Park MGM | 3770 S. Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89109
On The Record is another new nightclub in Park MGM with a downtown vibe. It’s decorated differently compared to other clubs in Vegas. You’ll see records lining the walls, pinball machines, and even a school bus on its outdoor space.
NoMad Las Vegas | 3770 S. Las Vegas Blvd., Las Vegas, NV 89109 | (702) 730 – 7000
JEMAA is the newest day club in Las Vegas. It looks like a more sophisticated pool party experience. NoMAD hotel guests have complimentary entry before noon.

EATALY is a new addition to the Las Vegas Strip since December of last year. It’s an Italian-themed experience with shopping, dining, and bars. You can drink wine by the glass at the bar, nibble on a salami and cheese board, or shop for unique snacks at the marketplace.
3545 S. Las Vegas Blvd., Las Vegas, NV 89109 | (702) 777 – 2782
Instead of going downtown or across the bridge at The Rio, you can now zip-line on the Las Vegas Strip at FlyLINQ. You’ll find it at the LINQ Promenade, right by the High Roller Ferris wheel.
Las Vegas Ballpark
1870 Festival Plaza Dr. Las Vegas, NV 89135
Now you can watch a baseball game in Las Vegas! We have a new ballpark called Las Vegas Ballpark in Downtown Summerlin, a suburb west of The Strip. It’s nearby Red Rock Casino and City National Arena, where the Golden Knights practice.
I was excited to find out that Cirque du Soleil was coming out with a new show called R.U.N. at Luxor this October. It sounds like a new concept with “real stunts, chases, and combat.” I can’t wait to check this out in person since I haven’t seen a Cirque du Soleil show I didn’t like.
Jimmy Kimmel’s Comedy Club
Inside LINQ Promenade | 3535 S. Las Vegas Blvd., Las Vegas, NV 89109 | (702) 777 – 2782

Jimmy Kimmel’s Comedy Club has shows Thursday to Sunday, but their bar is open daily. According to its website, tickets start at $29 and include a drink.
For tickets, go to Caesar’s Entertainment website here.

Zappos Theater | 3667 S. Las Vegas Blvd., Las Vegas, NV 89109 | (702) 777 – 2782
I was both team Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera, so I was happy to hear that Christina Aguilera is another singer who has taken up residency in Las Vegas.
Her Las Vegas show, The Xperience, starts on May 31st at the Zappos Theater in Planet Hollywood.
